High School Athletics

Bellarmine College Preparatory

Bellarmine College Preparatory offers 13 sports and fields 36 teams across fall, winter, and spring seasons. The school has a no-cut policy for cross country, wrestling, swimming, and track & field, ensuring inclusivity for all students. In the 2023–24 school year, 1,356 students participated in Bellarmine athletics, many engaging in multiple sports throughout the year. San José High School, established in 1863, is California’s third oldest public high school. The school offers a variety of sports, including baseball, basketball, softball, football, wrestling, soccer, badminton, track and field, cross country, tennis, swimming, and volleyball.
